The Pichat-Application is the Chat-Server and a Chat-Client in one Application → Download

Webbrowser
You can use a Webbrowser (e.g. Firefox) to connect to Chatserver.
It is also possible to integrate the chat with a cgi-script or with iframe into existing Websites.
Like in the pichat-wiki with Dokuwiki iframe plugin.

ColdCut
ColdCut is a Freeware (Adware) to cut videofiles recorded by OTR
Since 12/08/2009 is a webbrowser with direct access to the chat integrated.

A Pichat-PortabelCC-Edition was specielly developed for the ColdCut-Chat

Update 0.1.2 to Pichat v.0.4.2 B69:
- open the pichat.ini and add a ”-” in the StartupCommands
new line is now:
StartupCommands=/CONNECT new eu.pichat.net:9009 - ColdCut
Update from 0.1.1 to 0.1.2:
- download new Version and extract to a new Folder
- copy old pichat_user_permissions.ini to the new folder
- if you use an own User
- edit new pichat.ini with values from your old installation
- if you have own settings modifcate the lines from your old pichat.ini
- change lines with Nickname and Identification to your value or do Change your Nickname permanently
or simple rename the pichat.ini to pichat.sik.ini and copy the old pichat.ini to the new Folder it should work too.
To start the Portable Edition please run start_pichat_portable.bat ![]()
